Material, Use, & Care
Materials Used
- Outer/Shell refers to the main, majority area of the exterior body of the bag.
- Inner/Lining refers to the main, majority area of the interior body of the bag.
-
List of materials is not exhaustive, as several other raw materials may be involved to craft the bag in its entirety including other minor parts and embellishments besides Outer/Shell and Inner/Lining indicated.
- Examples of other parts that may use other raw materials: zipper pulls, straps/handles, aesthetic accessories, pockets
- Examples of other raw materials: microfiber leather
- For some products, we use genuine leather with textured, creased, or crinkled finishes. In these cases leather is intentionally treated to create a worn look with crinkles or creases and other imperfections that give it character and a distinct aesthetic.
Use
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, moisture, humidity, and any harsh chemicals. Discoloration may naturally occur due to environmental factors.
- Avoid prolonged contact between light and dark colors to minimize the risk of color bleeding onto other leather or clothing.
- While our bags have been wear-tested for long-lasting use, avoid overstuffing or filling your bag with heavy-weight items over long periods of time to best preserve its condition.
Care
- This product can not be washed. If wet, carefully wipe with absorbent and non-abrasive cloth, before letting it dry naturally in the shade with good ventilation if further necessary. Do not rush with intense heat such as sunshine or a hair dryer.
- In general, you may use a leather cleaner to wipe any stains. In case there are light white marks near the edges or stitching that appear to be drawn, please use a soft, non-abrasive cloth and wet with a very small amount of water or diluted alcohol to wipe. These are normal temporary marks made by our leather craft makers. We do our best to double-check and inspect each item before shipping out to you, but in case we miss any, rest assured the mentioned marks are removable.
- To protect and keep your bag in good condition over time, keep silica gel pouches inside to absorb moisture, and use stuffing to help keep the shape of the bag in storage.
